So, now that I have eaten an everything bagel and relaxed a bit, I feel much better. So, here is my post!
Yesterday I worked 7:30am-1pm and 5pm-8pm (just for those of you who are wondering what my hours are). So, in my 4 hour break, I walked home (half an hour), made and ate lunch (45 mins), nap/nightmares (1 hour), and then ate a mango and walked back to work. When I got home, Urug, Jersey, Tony, and Kim were playing Settlers of Catan on the kitchen table, so instead of fixing dinner, I ate cold rice and soy ice cream.
I read more Robin McKinley before we started playing Settlers with me. I won! but the game was really dragging since no one thought they were doing well enough to win (and the trading was really luke-warm).
On the bright side, I won!
For those of you who know me, I've decided to stop my food list. For those of you who don't know me, my food list started on January 30, 2010, and I kept track of everything I ate, how much I ate, if it was vegan or not, if it was good or bad, and the time and date I ate it.
It was way too much work, and it was only useful to take to the doctor and have her laugh at me. It also helped get my memory working, and now I am stuck in the habit of looking at the clock when I take my first bite of something. Also, I have gotten extremely anal about what I put in my food and what other people serve me.
I don't have much more to say today, so I'll post two more character profile's for my friends.
Kim is a feisty brunette that likes picking on boys. I think she's the type of person that gets lonely really easily and really fast, so even when we aren't doing anything, she comes over and watches TV while we play on our computers quietly. She drives a minivan, which is useful when we want to pile into a car but have more than 5 people. She's also good at laughing at bad jokes.
Laura is one of the girls we saw Batman with on last Friday - she's tall, and we like to joke around that her and her sister are giraffes. She's dating this guy that everyone says talks down to her, but I don't think its like that. It's more like, she spoils him rotten sometimes, so his joking comments like "Bring me cheese" lead to her actually slicing cheese and bringing it over to him. I always think she looks like Rachel McAdams from The Notebook, especially in the picturesque cover of the DVD (which I see checked out all the time at the library where I work).
So, yeah, I think that covers it for today. I might post something later, but you know how that goes... it's all up in the air until it actually happens.
Enjoy the rest of your day!
