So, I thought I'd give character descriptions of my friends - just for some background on the people I mention in my posts. I use common nicknames for all of them (just like how my name REALLY isn't Molly, but that's what everyone calls me anyway), but those of you who know me will probably know who I am talking about.

Veg-Ann is my bestest bestest friend! She's vegan (as her name suggests), and she keeps to it. She makes the best salads ever, has the best taste in music, and is the most easy-going, fun-loving, comforting person I know! She used to go to RIT with me (which is how I met her), but then she transferred to New Jersey to study there. I go down and see her a lot (and her family is great!), but I do miss her a lot during the school year.

Tony is one of my best guy friends - we dated for a year and a half, but most of the awkwardness from the break-up is gone (most people told us that our relationship was like middle school-ers anyway). He lives with Jersey, Matt, and Mike during the school year, and I generally hang out with him a lot. He's from Pennsylvania, so we always make fun of how 'white' and 'small town-y' he is.

Urug is another guy friend - he's living with me this (2010) summer, and I always associate him with the Internet. He's the kinda guy that when I come home, he's like, "Have you seen this video/comic/sweet background?!" and then proceeds to show you videos for the next half hour. He's a lot of fun to hang out around, and I like to think of him as a big fluffy ginger stuffed animal.

Matt is pretty great - whenever I see him, he's generally doing stuff, but I think he spends a lot of his time on the computer like Urug (but on different sites) 'cause he always pulls Internet jokes out during conversation. Whenever we have parties or potlucks, Matt brings one of his desserts - they are always sugar loaded and chocolate-filled, and even before I went vegan-ish, I was too afraid to try them out... But all the guys love them, and their teeth haven't fallen out yet.

Mike is a game design major, and he's always on his computer - LITERALLY. Even when he plays video games, he's got his laptop with him. The only times he closes it are: when he goes to class, when he's eating (sometimes), and when his girlfriend comes up from New York City area to visit him (and the rest of us, 'cause we love her to death!) Mike is a great guy, and he always cleans his plate at meals - and sometimes everyone else's!

Jersey is my best guy friend - he's living with me this summer, and he always worries that I'm gonna be ticked off at the way he sets things down (I know I'm anal about some things, but really, Jerz, you are doing just fine! The apartment is livable!) He's pretty sweet and super tall, which e likes to take pride in the way my neighbors take pride in their lawn (mowed three times a week and fed MiracleGro). We both love to eat Asian food and try new things out, and living with him has been pretty great so far!

Mom - you guessed it! She's my mother, and she's a sweetheart, if a bit too sensitive. She spends most of the little phone time we have talking about my little brother, which is fine, but if I wanted to hear about him, I'll call when he was around. She's fluent in Spanish, and my Irish blood comes from her side of the family. She's really pretty, but she hates her salt-and-pepper hair. I wish she wouldn't dye it black 'cause it looks good on her.

Dad - my Lithuanian blood comes from this side of the family, and he's the gruff, 'no, I don't want to play cards with you; I have work to do' guy who plans all of our family trips down to the last hour and always brings back souvenirs when he goes on business trips. One of my favorite childhood stories about my dad was when I was little, I would open and slam the bottom dresser drawer for fun. One night, he decided that he wasn't going to listen if I started wailing for attention. He heard the drawer slam, and then, as usual, I started wailing. He waited for a bit, but then after I didn't stop, he asked Mom if he should go check on me - she said to wait a little longer. Anyways, when he finally came in, I was bawling 'cause I had caught my hand in the drawer. He spent the rest of the night next to me, making sure I was safe and alright. He's like the big teddy bear of the family.

Dee is my older sister - she's two years older than I am, and she has the most vibrant red silky curls I have ever seen. I love her hair, and its soft too! We used to be really close, but when she moved out for college, we kinda drifted apart, though we still have those moments where its like the old days. She's into Dungeons and Dragons (which is like a video game before screens existed - like a board game where you use calculators and dice to figure out if your attack was successful and how much damage it did), and she has a close group of friends that she plays with. Sometimes I call her a hermit, but it's not that she doesn't leave the apartment - it's more that her apartment is surrounded by boring places, so there's no point in leaving.

Luke is my little brother - he's just under 4 years younger than me. He's tall and a little bulky, but a smart kid. He always is doing something wrong, so he's constantly tuning everyone else out since he's heard it all before. I think he decided a long time ago that some things just aren't worth the effort. But he's got his good streaks, and he's really good with little kids (probably 'cause he's similar to them). He also likes computer stuff a lot (which reminds me, its my turn in our facebook game of scrabble).

Joanna is one of my girl friends. She's got a great sense of style and a fabulous body to show it off. I can always count on her for a good time, and her laugh is... vibrant, healthy, full of life! She's been working on a blog this summer too, which is what got me started on this one. She also knows the best cheesy flicks to recommend, and I love her to death! Plus, she's brought back coffee dates and tea breaks! I don't know about you guys, but she's the only person I know that hosts tea parties throughout the year!

I'll probably add on more people as the blog goes on, but this is as much typing as I can put out for now.

:D Enjoy the rest of your day!
