Good morning! (geez, I just keep falling further and further behind...)

This past week has been pretty good to me, despite certain circumstances. I skipped a meeting Thursday night, which made me feel great and not guilty at all. I baked cookies (Mexican Hot Chocolate) Friday morning and gave them to the College of Science Student Advisory Board President (COSSASB prez) as a thank-you for the work he's done. Then I spent most of the day in meetings or preparing for the Winter Gala that was going to happen on Saturday.

On Saturday, we set up the gala and ran it successfully - it went pretty good, and I can only think of four things that went wrong (all minor) - COSSAB prez didn't take his shift at the ticket table so I couldn't dance/party for two hours of the 4 hour dance, I was kinda sick, my boyfriend and I broke up because he's interested in 3 other girls and can't make up his mind, and THEY DIDN'T PLAY THE SONG THAT I REQUESTED AND HAD HIGHLIGHTED ON THE DJ'S PLAYLIST!!!!!

Let's all take a moment to pull up Janelle Monae's "Tightrope" song and listen...

Despite the fact that everyone apologized and I couldn't dance too much, I had a great time, and I got to see some people that I haven't seen in a while.

Sunday, I had a four hour long meeting (that got out early, luckily) about Honors Council stuff. It was very dry, but I got a free (vegan!) lunch out of the deal, so I'm happy. There were some minor issues with a friend's boyfriend drinking and living at the apartment, but I think it's been resolved by now. Word of caution - don't try online dating, and don't let them live at your place.

Monday I caught up on all the homework I hadn't done over the weekend, and Jersey came over at night. We baked some Pecan and Cranberry Stuffing and had it for dinner - the leftovers fed me for three days. It was really good, and it didn't lose its flavor over time like I thought it would. I really wanted to make stuffing because I didn't have any during Thanksgiving.

Tuesday was a long day, and I got put in a group for my Marketing class - a group that still hasn't contacted me (but I heard from a third party that they chose to do diesel fuel for our final project without asking me). I'm pretty pissed about this, so I'll try to skip over it to save your poor ears. Margie made cookies, and they were pretty good (though a little on the crunchy side). And I made Korean pancakes for the first time in about a year - and they were delish! I had some for breakfast with miso soup and a cup of green tea on Wednesday.

Wednesday was a good day, and I got a lot done - especially since I was covering a co-worker's shift from 6-10pm. No one came into the library, and there was nothing to do anyways. Once I got home, I went straight to bed.

Thursday is going pretty good so far, and I think I'm going to confront my Marketing group and see if I can switch groups or something if they are going to try to make all the decisions without me. Jerks.

Have a wonderful day, and don't forget to bring a towel!
