I said "official" because Jersey and Tony have been talking to me about it in person or on facebook, but that doesn't count 'cause it's not recorded down for posterity.

Also, they are ripping out some of the shelving behind the desk - they are going to be rearranging all of this stuff back here, which I guess will be good.
Right now, it gives me something to watch happen.

Good morning!
I was just about to type up an entry when my arm knocked over my coffee, covering the desk, the keyboard, and the mousepad. When I started cleaning it up, I accidentally hit "Enter", and I now have an empty blog entry.
And occasionally the keyboard bleeds brown liquid (though I got most of it out).
So, yesterday I did my laundry, painted my toenails, shaved my legs, and put lotion on - like a real girl! - just because I felt that I should at least do the bare (hahaha) minimum before I go to the beach. I picked out cute beach-y outfits to pack and emptied the trash in the bathroom after discovering that I really need to shave more often.
I even considered doing my hair - and not just combing it over to the side and pretending it looks nice!!
Then the fishies came over and Carrie came over and Andy came over and Urug came home etc etc. Urug, Andy, Carrie, and Becca (Jersey's Chem friend) went to go grab some food, and Jersey, me and Cynthia (their student boss thing) played cards with them and laughed a lot.
They went home so early! (all gone by 9:30pm) so I played video games before going to bed.
Sitting here at work, I'm really glad I don't need to shave my arm hair - blondes are good for something after all.
Uh, and this morning was a rainy and gross, but Jersey held the umbrella more on my side, so he got all soaked and I just got partially soaked. Then we had Dance Party Friday!!!! for a good 45 mins!!!! And the library is boring again today, except for a lovely bit where the phone rang 4 times and I actually had to put someone on hold for once!
But I got it all solved pretty fast and Jersey took my money to go buy us coffee and bagels today (usually he pays, so I thought I would be nice and do it for once).
So yeah, Laura is gonna pick me and Jersey up at 2:30pm from our place to go to the East View Mall (about 1/2 an hour away) where we will chill and wait for the bus to arrive just after 4pm.
Then we will be on our way, and probably get to his place just after midnight!
So I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

I thought I would give an update on some things:
Carrie - my old roommate, beautiful ginger goddess who had the best summer I have ever heard anyone talk about, and she totally came back hotter than before (which I didn't think was possible). She's vegetarian (which is cool), but it sounded like she got picked on a little bit by the people with her overseas. And she ate green ants live (but she doesn't think she'll ever do it again - it was just a cultural experience thing).
Tony totally got rope burn on his neck from tubing with Matt and Matt's family.
My favorite drink in the morning is coffee with soymilk - but I also love tea!

Good morning!
So, I found out yesterday that Tony also reads this, and it's up on my facebook under my profile picture. I guess that means I am official now!
Yesterday after work, I ate lunch with Tony - soup! - and we worked on the puzzle for a bit until I kicked him out. Then I took a nice long nap, waking up at 6pm. Then I chilled with Jersey and Kim for a little bit, and people starting walking into the apartment. Then, it was Korean time!
I love Korean food - so much that I proposed to the waiter once! This time, we went for Robyn's birthday party (since we won't be here for her actual birthday). She came with her boy, and he was lots of fun.
My old roommate came too! She spent the summer in Australia and New Zealand on a study abroad/vacation thing where she hiked, went sky-diving, explored, and now has to write a paper about it. I really like her a lot, and after dinner, she came over to our place to chat and catch up.
We finally finished that puzzle too - as much as we could. One piece was missing, and there was one extra piece that didn't fit anywhere. That's what you get for pulling puzzles out of a donation bin...
I'm wearing a long flowing tye-dye dress today since I want a summer-y feel. It makes today feel like it might move a little faster, which would be greatly appreciated on my behalf.
Also, I am totally inviting the pre-fishies over to our place tonight.

So, I went over to the Artesano Bakery and bought three bagels (2 blueberry and 1 everything). As I was leaving, I saw a friend of mine from orchestra, and he waved.
Without thinking about it, I offered him a bagel - and he took a blueberry (his favorite).
When I got back, without thinking, I offered my supervisor a bagel - and she took the everything (her favorite).
That left me with the blueberry (my favorite).
I knew those were their favorites before I bought the bagels.
I think I just discovered that I feed people on instinct. I always thought Southern hospitality was just ingrained in me, but I think that I'm one of those people that NEEDS to feed/take care of other people.
And that explains a lot.
Jersey, I'll buy you coffee today if you come over.

So, I have been informed that Jersey reads this. I'm not sure if I should be happy I have a reader or like, man, I can't write bad things about people (not that I would anyway, but still)
On Monday, I read "The Reckoning" by Kelley Armstrong - I thought it was alright, but it was too sappy compared to the rest of the series! What happened there, huh?! The boys went over to Tony's to play games, and I ended up playing Batan Kaitos (sp?) for a few hours before hitting the sack.
Yesterday morning, I woke up - no! came into consciousness - huddled in a corner of my room, wrapped in the comforter I store away in the summer, with the windows open, my alarm clock off, and it was an hour later than usual. And I was shivering with fear, praying for dawn to come.
I have no idea how that happened, and I thought about skipping work. But then I realized that if I stayed home, I might do that again, and not make it safely out of my lofted bed the next time....
After work, I rode my bike over to the University of Rochester and finished up the study I was participating in - making $30 in 15 mins. When I got back, I showered, and then Jersey was home from work really early. So I played some more video games. Lazy, yeah, I know.
We invited the pre-fishies over again, and they came (except for 2) and we had a great time playing with them - cards, puzzles, and some dice game with food. I enjoyed their company a lot, but once they left - I was out like a light.
Then this morning, Jersey and I fell asleep instead of eating breakfast, and when we finally left for work, we snagged a quick bite and then fumbled out the door. I think we are in desperate need of a vacation, and it's a good thing that we've only got three more days until we go to the beach!
Otherwise, I think we might have skipped work today.

So, here's the lowdown on the pre-freshmen:
Amy - a local girl who I think is cute, Jersey thinks is cute, Tony feels the same, but Urug thinks she only 'alright' - she was with her mom on Saturday
Clarissa - a born-leader type who did most of the puzzle that we all hate - everyone likes her
Lauren - one of the two who came over to our place after dinner Saturday - we all agree that she gives off an 'indie' sort of feeling
Kimbria - I keep accidentally calling her Cambria for some reason - Urug thinks she's smoking hot, and we all agree that she's pretty quiet
Stephanie - a dance teacher, horseback-rider, picky-eater - definitely the most open of the kiddos - we like her, and she already facebook-friended me
Justin - blonde, glasses, seems like he will meld into the RIT culture very nicely - he got noodles at dinner on Saturday, so I naturally approve
Gabe - pretty quiet, really nice - we think that if he talked more, he'd be one of the most popular guys in the group, but as it is, everyone likes him.
And that's it! There's only 7!
